Grace Prechtel: double vision//faded memory
double vision//faded memory is a short film by Grace Prechtel concerning ideas of failed memory and nostalgia––our perceived versus actual experiences. Prechtel remains invisible yet is a constant presence as the photographer through slight (and some not-so-slight) audio hints. The film itself becomes an intimate experience in which viewers can step into the artist's shoes and see as they see, though that sight is perhaps not as real as it appears.
